LCI Commercial Construction Company was founded by Bryan Lloyd in 1989 in Tucson. In 1993 at his family’s request, Bryan put LCI on hold, and joined his father, William H. Lloyd, and brothers at Lloyd Construction Company, Inc., founded by his father in 1969. Bryan was an owner and principal there until 2013, when he left to restart LCI.

Bryan brings back to LCI Commercial nearly 30 years of experience in managing and estimating over $500 million in commercial construction throughout Southern Arizona. His construction experience includes projects as large as $25 million in public works, private development, healthcare, laboratory, church, K-12, and higher education projects.

LCI is licensed with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors.

Construction Manager at Risk

Construction Manager at Risk

LCI has been working under the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) contracting method since the State of Arizona approved CMR for use by public agencies in 2000. We work in partnership with the design team starting as early as possible in the design phase to assist with the design process by providing estimating, constructability review, and value engineering services.

Design Build

Design Build

LCI also works in the Design-Build contracting method in both the public and private sectors.  Here, a Project Owner selects a general contractor/architect team to design and build a project.  The Project Owner contracts with the general contractor to complete the project, who in turn subcontracts the design work to the architect.

Design/Bid/Build

LCI also works in the traditional Design/Bid/Build contracting method. Here, the design of a project is completed and the project is put out for competitive bidding, either to a prequalified group of general contractors, or publicly.
